3rd Annual Lake Roosevelt Trip!!

The first week of August we went to Papa Jake's for our 3rd Annual Lake Roosevelt Trip. We look forward to this vacation every year. Each year, the number of people that go grows and so does the fun we all have. This year we had 15 people:

Busch Family: Brad, Amber Colton (7), Adalynn (almost 4)
Larson Family: Troy, Michelle, Jolee (8)
Herrell Family: Branden, Aimee, Riley (10 or 12, I can't remember), Dac (5)
Jacobson Family: Ryan, Stephanie, Alexis (almost 1 year)

Some things I will remember from this year:

• Bacon, bacon and more bacon. Jake bought 16 pounds of bacon. We thought it would be impossible to eat that much bacon, but we did it. I have several pounds on my thighs as proof.


• Making new friends.


• Tube wars with Colton. He knocked me off twice!


• Addy learning how to ski!

Colton tried skiing again this year. He was super excited before our vacation, but then not too into it during our trip. He seemed to have more fun going crazy on the intertube and daring Brad to knock him off.
