Friday 8/29 was our 10th anniversary! Since we were heading out on a family trip on Friday we celebrated Thursday evening. Kadie took the kids overnight and Brad and I were able to go on a really nice date. First we headed to "Vino", which is a wine bar on Front Street in Issaquah. We had some wine and tapas and were able to catch up. Then we went to Jacks for steak, which is also on Front Street. Jacks has the best food around. Their crab cakes are amazing! It was so nice to have an evening just the two of us. It was especially nice to be able to sleep all night long without the kids waking us up!
On Friday morning we loaded up the car and headed to Friday Harbor. It has become a tradition to spend Labor Day weekend there. Our friends parents have a house on the water and we all gather this time of year. The first year Colton was only 5 months old, then we went again when he was 1 year, 5 months, and now again with 2 kids. In total I believe there were 22 people, including 3 babies, a 2 1/2 year old boy and Colton. It was a full and busy house! Colton got to go kayaking and on Brians boat looking for crab. Adalynn enjoyed making friends with the other babies and watching her brother.
