Colton is 4!!

Yesterday was Colton's 4th birthday. Looking at him it is easy to believe. He is 47 pounds and super tall! To think only 4 years ago he was 9 pounds and a newborn!

Colton is a very good boy (usually). He knows his alphabet, can write all his letters, knows how to count to at least 20, and can write most of those numbers. He can spell and write his whole name (Colton Bradley Busch). He is learning how to spell other things (Daddy) and is always asking me how to spell things. He cracks me up on a daily basis with the things he says. One of my favorites is a month ago he came in the house after playing outside. Scout was eating his baseball that Colton had left outside. Colton comes inside and says "Mommy, I am very disappointed in Scout".

Colton loves Spiderman. We are going to redo his room to a Spiderman theme. I got this great wall mural of Spiderman from Pottery Barn for his birthday. Colton found it in an old Pottery Barn magazine that was in our bathroom. He told me that he does not like monkeys anymore (what is in his room now) and that he wants Spiderman.

Colton has good maners. He opens the door for me and other people and always says "ladies first". At times (more recently lately) he will have a lot of sassy talk. We are trying to correct that by sending him to the thinking chair a lot! He loves helping his Daddy work on the house. He actually loves doing anything he can with Brad. Colton got a fishing pole for his birthday and has been out in the grass with Brad almost every day practicing his fishing. He wants Brad to build him a tree fort this summer and ask Brad about it at least once a week.

I love watching Colton grow and learn. He is a great big brother and a great son.
